Schedule: All Shifts Available (Days/Afternoons/Overnights)


Salary: $19.00 An Hour


Description: We are looking for a diligent and dependable individual to join our team as an Unarmed Security Officer. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of our client’s premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and poise.


Responsibilities:

  • Regularly patrol designated areas to prevent and identify unauthorized activities.

  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and address suspicious behavior or security breaches.

  • Perform thorough inspections to ensure all doors, windows, and access points are securely locked.

  • Respond quickly to requests for assistance or emergencies, including medical incidents, disturbances, or accidents.

  • Keep accurate logs and reports of security incidents, disturbances, and other significant activities during your shift.

  • Deliver excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries, directions, and other needs.
  • Work effectively with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations to maintain security standards and ensure compliance.
  • Engage in ongoing training to stay updated on security protocols, emergency response procedures, and relevant laws.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.


Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a security officer or guard.

  • Completion of a 20-hour state certification course and possession of a PERC Card.
  • Solid understanding of legal guidelines for security and public safety.
  • Proficiency in report writing.
  • Strong surveillance and observation skills.
  • Valid Drivers License

  • Reliable Transportation

  • High School diploma is required; further education in security administration or a similar field is preferred
