Great Opportunity - Phlebotomist - Lebanon, NH
13 week Assignment


Job Details:
  • Ability to work independently within two weeks of start date AND in a team setting
  • Obtain blood specimens
  • Maintain knowledge of specific specimen requirements
  • Follow correct order of draw based upon tube type and special handling of tests
  • Utilize proper resources for obtaining specimen requirement information
  • Collect and enter off-site blood work into system
  • Complete and process a variety of forms
  • Obtain pre-authorization and patient signature
  • Prepare specimens for in-lab testing or off-site shipment
  • Ensure blood-drawing stations are clean and well stocked
  • Must have experience with all ages of patient population (newborn to geriatric)
Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years CURRENT Phlebotomy experience - Required
  • ASCP/PBT Phlebotomy Certification or equivalent - Required
  • EPIC experience - Required
  • Travel experience - Highly Preferred

THE LAB NOW REQUIRES 2 SUPERVISORY SIGNED REFERENCES, ONE REFERENCE EACH FROM THE LAST 2 TRAVEL ASSIGNMENTS OR WORK SITES AT TIME OF SUBMISSION!

  • APD sees more than 90,000 patients a year. Their Emergency Department provides diagnostic and treatment services for patients presenting with a wide range of injuries and illnesses. With a goal to have all patients who come to the ED seen within 30 minutes of their triage, APD's staff of physicians and nurses provides fast, accessible, professional, and compassionate care for the residents of the Upper Valley.
