Job Description:
Are you a skilled phlebotomist looking for a challenging and rewarding career? Join our team as a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II and make a difference in patients' lives.
As a PSR II, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality phlebotomy services in a variety of settings, including doctor's offices and patient service centers. Your duties will include:
- Accurate Blood Draws: Skillfully draw blood samples from patients of all ages, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Patient Care: Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients, explain procedures clearly, and build trust.
- Specimen Processing: Prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing, following established protocols.
- Data Entry: Accurately record patient information and lab results.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in phlebotomy, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a patient service center environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency in data entry
