Customer Support Representative
We are in search of a proficient Customer Service Representative to be a part of our team based in Littleton, Colorado. The primary focus of this role is to manage customer tax filings and address their queries efficiently. As a Customer Service Representative, you will interact with customers via Zen Desk, our ticketing and phone system, and handle data entry tasks. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage a subset of clients and their sales use/tax filings
• Log into our proprietary system to follow the workflow for each customer, determining the necessary steps and reports for customer payments
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns through our ticketing system, Zendesk
• Assist customers who have received government notices, updating them on the situation and progress
• Amend prior period filings as necessary and handle the request for new ones
• Maintain regular communication with customers, updating them on their case status and following up as needed
• Process incoming and outgoing phone calls through Zendesk
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the database
• Exhibit strong skills in data entry, email correspondence, and Microsoft Excel to ensure smooth operations
• Manage customer credit applications and take appropriate actions based on account monitoring.
• Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role.
• Experience with a ticketing system is a key requirement.
• Proficiency in data entry is essential
• Must be skilled in email correspondence, managing both incoming and outgoing emails.
• Experience with inbound and outbound calls is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Experience in database management is necessary.
• Familiarity with Zendesk or similar customer service software is desirable.
