We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Senior Accountant in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will provide expertise on complex accounting issues, manage the implementation of new accounting standards, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. You will also lead and coordinate the external audit process and assist in managing the day-to-day accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise on complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, financial reporting, and employee stock option accounting.

• Oversee and ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP.

• Lead and coordinate the external audit process, working closely with auditors.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Assist with the month-end closing process.

• Manage the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.

• Stay current on changes to tax laws and regulations.

• Own Tax and compliance workstreams.

• Assist in overseeing regulatory compliance.

• Review final Payroll reconciliations.

• Assist in managing the day-to-day accounting functions.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is compulsory.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Experience with Concur financial management software is necessary.

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.

• Comprehensive understanding of various accounting functions is a must.

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.

• Proven experience in Auditing is essential.

• Proficiency in managing Billing Functions is required.
