LHH is partnering with a leading publicly traded company in Fort Worth to hire a Corporate Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience, preferably within a publicly traded organization and/or public accounting experience. This in-office position offers a competitive salary range of $100-115K, along with a bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the accounting operations within the organization. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, maintaining the general ledger, and supervising the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounting department.

  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.

  • Ensuring SOX compliance and develop and implement internal controls and procedures.

  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.

  • Train and mentor accounting staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • CPA, Masters or MBA required.

  • Leadership and team management experience required

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting experience

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.

  • Proficiency in managing accounting systems and software.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to interpret and apply accounting standards and regulations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
