We are seeking a diligent Accounting Assistant to become a vital member of our team, based in our Miami, Florida office. As an Accounting Assistant, your main responsibility will be managing customer accounts, responding to inquiries, and keeping accurate records. This role provides a chance to move from a contract to a permanent position, within a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out precise data entry tasks for invoices
• Perform basic Excel operations for financial management
• Supervise the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Keep accurate records of customer credits
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts
• Maintain a high level of organization within the accounts receivable process.• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management is required
• Must possess strong data entry skills
• A minimum of an Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role is preferred
• Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheet software is necessary
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail are crucial
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with various departments
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
