We are on the hunt for an Accounting Assistant for a local Non-Profit. This is a small non-proft with a great work life balance and offers quite a bit of work from home. The Accounting Assistant will report to the Director of Finance and help with day-to-day duties.


Responsibilities:

• Accurately handle account reconciliation tasks

• Manage the operations of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Conduct data entry tasks and process invoices efficiently

• Generate accounting reports and present their results

• Communicate effectively with other departments and report work status issues as they arise

• Process bi-weekly payroll and reporting duties


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role,

• Proficiency in account reconciliation.

• Experience with accounts payable (AP), responsible for processing payments and documenting expenses.

• Knowledge of accounts receivable (AR), tasked with ensuring that we receive payment for goods and services offered.

• Ability to handle billing tasks, such as generating invoices and managing customer accounts.

• Strong data entry skills, ensuring information is inputted accurately and efficiently into our systems.

• Experience with QuickBooks.
