Taylor Staffing is seeking an accountant for a large manufacturing company in Shawnee, OK.

• This is NOT a remote position. Candidate MUST have the following experience to be considered.
  • Candidate MUST have at least 5 years of accounting experience including:
    • Candidate MUST have accounting experience in MANUFACTURING
    • SAP Finance & Controlling, Accounting
    • IFRS
    • GAAP
    • Project Management
    • Banking Transaction
    • Credit Exposure
    • Month end closing
    • Financial Statement Preparation

POSITION SUMMARY: Finance Manager (In-office, M-F)
Primary Accounting business contact for a large manufacturing facility. Oversees key aspects of financial reporting and accounting for manufacturing facility located in Shawnee, OK.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accounts Payable contact for vendors and plant personnel.
• Coordination with external auditors to ensure that plant accounting is properly recorded and timely and meets all GAAP and IFRS requirements
• Provide support to provide cash flow forecasting
• Assists back end of payables to facilitate reconciliation and payment of invoices; works across Procurement, vendors, 3rd party services and plant personnel
• Assists the monthly closing process for plant
• Coordinate property tax submissions
• Manage ad hoc financial requests

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
• Min. 5-8 years of financial/ accounting experience
• MBA preferred
• Understanding of complex financial and accounting transactions
• Analytical and problem solving capability
• Presentation skills
• Interpersonal and planning skills
• Self-motivated
• Project management skills and process oriented
• Ability to work with full range of manufacturing positions and across different cultures
