We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will be tasked with maintaining accurate accounting records, leading the month-end close process, and supervising staff accountants. Your role will also involve working closely with tax and treasury personnel, as well as creating and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accuracy of general ledgers for the corporate office and related group holding companies
• Oversee the consolidation of Company groups
• Supervise and provide daily support to the Staff Accountants
• Collaborate with tax and treasury personnel to ensure GAAP accounting records accurately reflect all group cash movements and support tax compliance activities
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including subsidiary stand-alone and consolidated financial statements and various schedules/statistics
• Conduct and review account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
• Take the lead in the external reporting of financial statements and related information to banks and other key stakeholders, including external auditors
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department
• Handle any other ad-hoc requests related to the accounting function.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in: Accounting, Finance or Business: Accounting concentration courses required if not an accounting degree
- 5-7+ years’ experience, including closing the accounting books
- CPA highly preferred, but not required
- Other important areas where experience is preferred but not required:
- Income tax compliance and tax return preparation experience
- Sales/Use tax compliance
- Family office work environments
- Microsoft AX ERP system
- General manufacturing experience
