Our client has an exciting contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to provide administrative support to a Logistics team. As an Accounting and Administrative Clerk for this busy manufacturing team, you will be playing a vital role by assisting with ad hoc administrative support, data management, and accounting operations. This position is fully onsite in SW Portland.
Responsibilities • Handle administrative support tasks for a dynamic team • Execute efficient and accurate data entry tasks • Utilize Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level for various tasks • Oversee invoice processing and ensure accuracy • Carry out Account Reconciliation tasks to maintain financial accuracy • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations • Monitor and maintain billing procedures for the logistics department • Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all tasks and processes • Apply basic math skills in financial operations and data management.• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative and or accounting role or similar • Proficiency in performing account reconciliation is essential • Some experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) is required • Must have a strong background in billing and invoice processing • Data entry skills • Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Excel are critical • A background in logistics is preferred, but not required
