This position is responsible for managing the company's accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

• Financial Management & Reporting:
• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial data and manage the reconciliation of accounts.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and realistic financial projections.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis and recommendations to management.
• Cost Accounting & Inventory Management:
• Implement and manage cost accounting systems specific to the agriculture industry, including crop and livestock production cost analysis.
• Oversee inventory accounting and valuation processes, including the management of biological assets.
• Compliance & Internal Controls:
• Coordinate and manage audits, both internal and external.

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in the agriculture industry or related sectors is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
