The Position

Margaritaville/ IMCMV is looking for a talented intern motivated to succeed at anything they do. Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship provides real-world experience for students interested in the bringing their unique accounting skills and insights to the dynamic fast paced, and amazing brand and position. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in many aspects of business and communications. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a part-time position, up to 24 hours per week.

What you'll do:

• This position will be expected to assist with different functions in the accounting department
• This includes invoice entering, vendor communication and miscellaneous admin tasks
• Open mail and scan documents to software system
• You will focus on learning how our organization runs and also assist the accounting team with various projects
• Research and audit payment information
• Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks
• Other projects as assigned

Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University; Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related major required.

• Junior or Senior standing
• Must have a basic knowledge of MS Office (working knowledge of Excel is a plus)
• Deadline-driven, organized, and able to multi-task in fast-paced environments
• Must be comfortable working, collaborating, and communicating with leaders of all levels
• Intellectual curiosity and a strong passion for data
• Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to collaborate with teammates
• Position will be both on site and have one day a week working remotely
