General Summary:
Perform a variety of administrative tasks related to processing of payroll data, invoice preparation and reconciliation, data handling, and record maintenance/reporting.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Prepares, analyzes and interprets various financial reports. Assists with monthly closing process.
- Prepares work papers, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for audits, financial reporting, and billing requirements.
- Distributes equipment and fuel charges to appropriate construction jobs. Assists with entry of payroll data into payroll system for assigned groups.
- Prepares additional corporate filing requirements as assigned.
- Prepares general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Process and record cash receipts.
- Acts as backup resource for various accounting positions as needed.
- Performs additional assignments as directed by the Manager.
Description of physical working environment:
- Works in a standard office environment. Tasks in the office involve regular sitting or standing with computer use. Repetitive typing is common, and occasional bending, twisting, and light lifting may be required with or without reasonable accommodations.

Requirements:Qualifications:
- Two or Four-year college degree in accounting, finance or business or similar background.
- Ability to deliver accurate reports and meet expected timelines.
- Highly developed analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently, problem solve and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.
- Proficient in use of accounting and spreadsheet software applications.
- Ability to be flexible and to function as a part of a team.
