COIT Cleaning & Restoration Services has openings for entry level and experienced Water Damage Restoration Technicians

Water Damage Restoration Technicians are responsible for handling new and ongoing water damage claims with integrity and excellence. Applicants must have previous Water Restoration experience.

Duties will include response to emergency water damage claims and other restoration-related activities including initial job-site inspection, secure jobs fast, and perform structural drying per the IICRC standards.

Primary customer contacts are residential and commercial customers

The work environment is fast-paced, highly competitive and requires travel in a company owned vehicle within the territory
We will provide you with comprehensive PAID training

You will learn customer service and technical trades.

REQUIREMENTS:

Restoration Demomalition

Knowledge in required Water Restoration paperwork

Ability to be on call including nights and weekends, plus overtime

Applicants must be reliable, customer-oriented and willing to be part of a team

Clean cut, organized person with positive attitude

Outstanding personal skills and the ability to think on your feet is a necessity

IICRC Certification is a plus but not a requirement

Participation in a weekly rotational on-call schedule

Physically able to work in PPE including respiratory protection

Candidate must be able to lift 75 lbs. consecutively

POSITION SUMMARY:

Accounting Clerk is responsible for handling the fundamental aspects of payroll, employee records, attendance tracking, accounts receivable and accounts payable and other basic accounting responsibilities. Responsibilities also include posting accounts receivable invoices, employee commission, billing and review outstanding receivable accounts, posting accounts payable and filing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with posting of sales and revenue into COIT's computer system.
  • Assists in balancing of cash payments daily.
  • Assists with the processing of weekly and monthly statements for outstanding A/R accounts
  • Ensure that receivables are collected promptly by making customer collection calls to ensure collection of all monies due
  • Assists with the daily and weekly input of vendor invoices
  • Assists with coding and inputting of AP into software
  • Answer inbound calls from customers and technicians confirming account balances and remitting payment via credit card
  • Helps maintain files of all paid invoices
  • Help maintain Work in Process (WIP) account
  • Compiles and maintains employee files and records in compliance with state, federal, and companies requirements
  • Conducts, tracks, a reports background checks and drug screens
  • Payroll duties including processing bi-weekly payroll, monitors payments to salaried employees, reconciling and paying commissions, reimbursing employee expense reports and processing wage garnishments.
  • Provide information for the controller for financial statements.
  • Reconciles records and produces reports as required.
  • Generate 1099's and W-2's.
  • Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested divisional management and corporate.
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
  • Assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit
  • Periodic reconciliations AR accounts and HR files to ensure their accuracy
  • Other general administrative duties as assigned

  • Meets corporate standards for attendance and timeliness.
  • Establishes control systems, problem solving and follow-up procedures to ensure that objectives and goals are met.
  • Supports organizational teamwork and acts as an advocate for corporate values.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Prior accounting experience a plus
    • Prior payroll experience a must
    • Strong cognitive skills including analysis, problem solving, high attention to detail and decision making.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to support data quality and integrity initiatives
    • Ability to work on multiple assignments concurrently within established timeframes
    • Requires proficient use of keyboard
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word
    • Accounting/Payroll software experience
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Must be dependable with excellent attendance history
    • Proven collections experience
