Technical Accountant III
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid - Flexibility to be on-site as needed)
3-Month Assignment (potential to extend or convert)
Pay: $90-92 / hour

Our client, a Fortune 300 computer hard drive disk manufacturer and data storage company, is looking for a Technical Accountant III to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Technical Accounting function in researching and concluding on complex technical accounting matters, such as mergers, acquisitions, lease agreements, or revenue arrangements.
• ssess financial and operational implications of complex accounting matters.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
• Interact with multiple functions to obtain relevant financial or operational information to support complex technical matters.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science with concentration in accounting
• 5+ years of experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and the Accounting Standards Codification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• bility to communicate complex accounting issues to non-accounting personnel
