In support of the continued growth of our Accounting Advisory practice, we have an opportunity available for a Manager to join our national team with the flexibility to sit in many of our offices or work remotely within proximity to them, performing travel for specific projects as needed. Our practice’s industry-focused teams (Financial Services; Industrial & Consumer Goods; Private Equity; Professional Services; Real Estate, Construction & Hospitality Technology & Life Sciences) provide turn-key solutions from past experience to create long-term solutions for their current needs with a forward-looking lens of the future.
As a Manager, you will:
Manage multiple client relationships with a team of professionals providing technical accounting consulting around events & transaction services and other projects & solutions in support of community banks and/or credit unions. This position will require your participation in all stages of engagements including providing assistance with planning, field work, engagement wrap-up and deliverable composition across a wide range of issues or strategic projects facing these financial institutions including, but not be limited to: mergers & acquisitions, Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) consulting, regulatory reporting to state banking boards and/or FDIC, interim Controllership, etc. A demonstrated passion for excellence and collaborative approach will position you well for success in our environment.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and active CPA license (strongly preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in both public accounting firm and in a banking / credit union accounting role performing financial close and reporting responsibilities (SEC reporting experience is a plus)
- Experience with technical accounting in a banking or credit union environment, an understanding of accountings processes and internal controls, and the ability to navigate ambiguous client assignments
- Experience with regulatory call report preparation and remediation of regulatory examination issues
- Demonstrated ownership of CECL (Current Expected Credit Loss) Standard
- Experience with process improvements, annual budgets, and management or board level reporting in a banking / credit union environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with professionals at all levels both within the client organization and the firm
- Solid organizational skills and ability to delegate work assignments as needed to ensure project deadlines are met with a focus on details
- Comfortable and thriving in a hybrid work environment, with availability to travel up to 40% as needed

The salary range for this position is $92,625 to $160,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
