Job Summary: As the Controller, you will oversee the company’s financial operations and provide leadership to the accounting and finance team. Your role will be critical in shaping the company’s financial strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. You will work closely with the senior management team to provide strategic financial analysis, manage financial reporting, and support key business decisions. Your leadership will ensure that financial resources are used efficiently and effectively as we continue our journey of growth.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Accounting Operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Internal Controls: Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
System Implementation: Implement and maintain accounting software and systems.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic financial plans.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance
Strong understanding of GAAP
Advanced knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Detail-oriented and organized
