Job Description
Management-level self-starter wanted for growing, fast-paced organization.
Must be well-versed in all aspects of general accounting and able to adapt and contribute to procedural changes and diverse software implementation. Experience with multiple software platforms is a plus.
The candidate should have a minimum of two to three years of accounting management experience, five years of office/business experience, and one to two years of inventory management experience. They will work with and oversee support staff, so supervisory and training skills are required to to effectively manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable staff.
Will interface with all employees and contractors, independently make management-level decisions, and keep the CEO and COO informed as needed. Must be able to respond quickly to multiple urgent situations with ease.
Analytical, strategic and communication skills are a must. The ideal candidate is also extremely well-organized and detail oriented.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
CPA experience is a plus but not required
Accounts receivable and payable experience
Previous experience with management/leadership
Ability to work independently
Basic computer skills & proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Understanding of inventory management
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tracking income & expenses, reconciling accounts, and updating ledgers.
Manage reporting including account balances, profit and loss figures and transactional reports.
Reconcile bank accounts and perform account analysis on assets and liability accounts.
Create and/or file Sales Tax & CAT Tax Returns
