Accounting Specialist Job at SK Produce in Seattle

Essential Job Functions:

Daily Customer Orders (6-10 AM daily)

• Verify all voicemail orders were received
• Take email orders off and distributes accordingly
• Ensure customer orders are accurate and complete prior to printing invoices
• Print invoices and distribute to driving routes

Accounts Receivable

• Send monthly statements via company’s payment portals
• Accurately apply payments to the correct invoices in QuickBooks
• Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies or payment issues
• Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and arrange payment plans when necessary
• Reconcile daily invoices

Accounts Payable

• Track and enter business operations expenses
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements
• Generate reports related to accounts payable activities

Other

• Additional tasks/duties as required

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting
• Additional fluency in Chinese and/or Vietnamese
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a diverse environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with customers in a clear and concise manner
• Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
• Self-motivated and able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to the company’s values and ethics
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop
