In this critical role, you will lead the preparation and filing of SEC documents, manage accounting for the company's capital structure, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements.

Pay Details: $52.00 to $59.00 per hour

Job Overview:
LHH Recruitment solutions is seeking an experienced Accountant for SEC Reporting and Accounting Consultant role to support quarterly financial reporting and compliance efforts. In this critical role, you will lead the preparation and filing of SEC documents, manage accounting for the company's capital structure, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K, financial statements, Notes, and MD&A, using EDGAR.
- Oversee accounting for the company's capital structure, including debt and equity.
- Prepare and analyze the statement of cash flows.
- Draft the Form 8-K for quarterly earnings releases and develop related investor presentation materials.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
- Coordinate deliverables and timelines across multiple functions outside finance.
- Experience: 7-10 years of relevant experience, including preparing and filing Forms 10-Q and 10-K through EDGAR.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in using Workiva for financial reporting.
- Specialized Knowledge: Expertise in accounting for stock-based compensation.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to prepare comprehensive and accurate statements of cash flows.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to coordinate and manage deliverables across cross-functional teams.
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (B.S.).
- License: CPA certification required.
