Job Description
Our growing Accounting & Banking Services (ABS) team is part of our Exclusive Family Office group, which specializes in helping our high-net-worth clients with their personal and entity accounting. We are looking for a motivated staff accountant to join our team to assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and monthly close.

How you will contribute:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple clients
- Analyze discrepancies on invoices and research to discover the source of the issue.
- Assist with client-vendor management, including issues and disputes
- Record bank and credit card transactions
- Record investment statements and client payroll as directed.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, cash flow, and management reports
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and comparison of actual to budget reports
- Assist with year-end 1099 filings
- Maintain thorough client data files
- Exercise integrity and transparency in financial documentation, alerting other personnel if there is suspicion of fund misappropriation.
- Always maintain professionalism and confidentiality to safeguard confidential, sensitive information.
- Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned

Knowledge:
- General understanding of accounting and understand how to post debits and credits
- Experience with AgilLink, QuickBooks Online, and Xero preferred but not necessary
Skills:
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must

Experience and Education:
We will consider any combination of experience and education which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job. A typical way to acquire the requirements would be:
- Someone working toward the CPA or CFP
- 1 - 3 years of professional experience in an accounting or business management environment is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Primarily sedentary work in an office with minimal distractions; walking throughout the office. Learn and memorize tasks; execute tasks independently; apply knowledge and use judgment to handle situations. Occasionally exert up to ten pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Perform repetitive motions; substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and fingers for computer keyboard operation. Use near visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing documents, operating a computer, and reading. Speak and hear to communicate with team members and clients by phone and in-person.
