Our client, a rapidly growing company is seeking an Accounting Analyst! The Accounting Analyst will have the opportunity to grow into roles within the firm. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Will manage 7-8 real estate properties
• Will work closely with the Property Managers of each location
• Full accounting responsibility for various real estate entities
• General ledger maintenance utilizing Great Plains accounting software
• Preparation of monthly closes including bank reconciliations, journal entries and account analysis
• Supervise and review accounts payable and receivable functions
• Maintain fixed asset records
• Development and maintenance of reports
• Preparation and coordination of annual entity budgets, interfacing with the real estate department
• Tracking of book/tax differences through the preparation of quarterly tax estimates
• Interface with Tax Department in completing annual entity tax returns and to ensure proper tax reporting throughout the year
• Assist in special projects as assigned

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting (preferred) or Finance
• 2+years of accounting experience
• Experience booking journal entries
• Great Plains experience plus
• Real estate experience a plus
• CPA or MBA a plus
• Strong organization, analytical and problem solving skills
