Job Summary:

Everest is currently seeking an Executive Assistant in our Warren, NJ office to support our Treasurer and Head of Corporate Finance and their leadership team. This is a hybrid position working 3 days in office, 2 remote.

As an Executive Assistant, you will work closely with senior level executives in the organization. You anticipate the needs of the Executive and other key stakeholders and remain focused on their priorities by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You are adaptable in a fast-paced and demanding environment. You are also comfortable with new technologies and must become well versed in Everest's applications and technology solutions.

In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with Executives and other key stakeholders. It is imperative that you understand our culture and demonstrate our core values daily. You will showcase the utmost level of professionalism and confidentiality, and lastly, you are resourceful and effective by getting things done through other people.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Executive by performing various administrative tasks (i.e., manages calendar, handles all global travel arrangements, answers inquiries & phone calls)
  • Acts as a junior Chief-of-Staff to support the Executive in preparing for work flows including
    • Coordinating and tracking project schedules across the Corporate Finance and Treasury teams
    • Working with Corporate Finance and Treasury teams on developing and maintaining target operating models, hiring plans and job descriptions
    • Working with the Corporate Finance team and Group / Divisional Corp Dev teams to help coordinate strategic project execution
    • Working with the Assistant Treasurer to update and maintain core policies and procedures
    • Working with the Corporate Finance team to coordinate capital management transactions
  • Prepare executive ready PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 7-10+ years of experience in administrative executive level support
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions
  • Very professional and stays calm under pressure
  • Extremely detailed and meticulous
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Tech savvy and ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies; Keeps pace with new technologies to make the workplace more efficient and effective
  • Ability to adhere to complete confidentiality on all business matters
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be accessible, as needed, outside core work hour
