WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Executive Assistant to the VP of the Sales Department will perform a variety of duties and actions that are required to support the sales department functions to ensure that the team is operating effectively and efficiently. The assistant to the VP will also manage all communication activities and exercise requested sales and marketing activities.
Essential Functions
Provide item and pricing recommendations to the sales team tailored to customers.
Assist in setting up and reviewing KPI metrics for various departments such as procurement, sales, and supply chain to meet company objectives.
Oversee and maintain a check and balance on the team's performance.
Negotiate licensing agreement and expand the sales channel.
Record meeting minutes, follow through, and execute actionable strategies.
Conduct in-depth market research / data analysis and provide recommendations.
Execute project- and task-based functions.
Deliver evaluations to the executive team to enable well-informed decision-making.
Streamline operations and prioritize tasks to increase productivity of the organization.
Enhance company profile and sales deck.
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Specifications/Qualifications
Degree preferred in business administration, marketing, e-commerce.
Experience in online retailer and/or e-commerce experience
Must know Excel at the intermediate/advanced level
Excellent communication skills
Quick learner and adaptable to a fast-paced, highly flexible work environment.
Detail-oriented
Ability to work with minimal supervision, proactive and ability to be proactive.
Physical/Mental Requirements and Work Environment
This position is primarily sedentary working in front of a computer in an air-controlled environment. Frequent use of eyesight, fingering, and ability to sit for long periods is required.
