About the Administrative Assistant position

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant who will support the Executive Office by performing event planning, secretarial, and administrative tasks. The position is full-time and includes paid leave and benefits. The position requires 5+ years of experience in office support or assistant positions. The successful candidate must be an active member of a Southern Baptist church.

Administrative Assistant responsibilities are:
  • Help supervisor arrange daily schedule, setting up meetings, travel, speaking engagements and monitoring agenda
  • Help supervise the performance of clerical and ministry assistant staff
  • Receive and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
  • Manage office filing system and legal files
  • Keep and maintain financial records
  • Assist supervisor with monitoring team budget and account reconciliation
  • Event planning and coordinating


Administrative Assistant requirements are:
  • 5+ years' experience of working in an assistant or office support position
  • MS Office knowledge and English proficiency
  • Strong organizational and time management skills,
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Confidentiality and discretion
  • Bachelor's Degree
