About Lakewood Regional Support

Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.

This position reports to the Area Managing Director and VP of Human Resources and is responsible for all aspects of the day to day administration of the Executive Office. Performs a wide range of administrative and office support activities; and provides office services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitoring administrative projects.

Job Specific

  • Maintains day to day operation of Executive office by managing AMD and VP schedule, coordinating visitors arrival, assisting with office calls and distributing office communications and mail.
  • Resolves administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, preparing correspondence and providing research as needed
  • Provides information by answering questions and requests both internally and externally
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Assist Learning and Development with administrative duties and reporting
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed for both Finance and VP of Operations office
  • Provides the highest level of integrity and confidentiality

General

  • Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance
  • Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees
  • Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
  • Complies with Loews Hotels standards, policies and rules
  • Remains current with Loews Hotels information and changes
  • Complies with Loews Hotels uniform and grooming guidelines

Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Previous office experience working with leadership
  • Knowledge of hotel operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Experience in operating basic office equipment to include: specialized printing, scanning, presentation preparation.
  • Working knowledge of ADACO,HotSOS and OPERA PMS preferred
