About the Role

The Company is in search of a full-time Executive Director to lead its mission of preventing and eliminating youth homelessness. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization's overall success and viability, providing strategic and programmatic leadership, and ensuring that the values of safety, dignity, trustworthiness, and wellness are upheld. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep commitment to youth, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a proven track record in senior-level management, particularly in youth services, human services, or community organizing. The Executive Director will be tasked with navigating large-scale organizational change, optimizing service delivery, and fostering a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion. Key responsibilities include overseeing the public image and brand, building and maintaining relationships with funders and community partners, and managing the organization's financial and operational aspects. Ideal candidates for the Executive Director position at the company will have at least 5 years of senior-level leadership experience, a successful history in fundraising and grant writing, and exceptional interpersonal and networking skills. They should be adept at leading diversity and inclusion initiatives and have a strong customer service orientation. The role demands a leader who can inspire and engage staff and volunteers, and who is committed to the values of the organization, including anti-oppression and positive youth development. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, so experience in board management and governance is essential. The position is full-time and may involve flexible hours to meet the needs of the youth served by the organization.
