About the Role

The Company is seeking an Area Executive Director to lead and support multiple hospice programs in the Kansas and Missouri areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring site-level leaders in all aspects of program management, including staffing, budgeting, and marketing. This role requires a strong focus on maintaining and meeting set standards and goals, as well as ensuring the long-term fiscal viability of the hospice programs. The Area Executive Director will also be tasked with implementing company policies and mission and must have a deep understanding of the local market and exceptional leadership skills. Applicants for the Area Executive Director position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years experience in hospice operations management, with at least 2 years in multi-site hospice or home health leadership. The role demands a candidate with a broad knowledge of federal and state regulations and a proven track record in budget development and monitoring KPIs. While a Registered Nurse qualification is a plus, it is not mandatory for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding managerial, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and assertiveness abilities. The focus is on local candidates with current hospice or home health leadership experience and exceptional local market knowledge.
