Cultural competency, a commitment to social justice, and experience in community-centered leadership are essential. The role requires a leader with high emotional intelligence, inclusive leadership, and the ability to be a catalyst for change and innovation. The ideal candidate will be an analytical, creative, and collaborative problem solver, with a strong ability to build consensus and drive strategic, equity-centered growth. A history of successful fundraising and resource development, as well as knowledge of public systems and policy, is also necessary.
