About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of amplifying underrepresented stories and supporting independent filmmakers. They will also be a frontline fundraiser, cultivating relationships and leading the charge in fundraising efforts. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include strategic planning, overseeing programmatic aspects, and managing the organization's business affairs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of nonprofit management, excellent collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. They will work closely with the Board of Directors, aligning organizational goals with strategic priorities, and ensuring a unified approach to advancing the company's impact in the public media landscape. The role demands a leader who is adaptable, innovative, and can effectively represent the organization as a spokesperson, particularly in matters related to diversity and public media.
