The Executive Director is responsible for the planning, operation, administration, and expansion of activities of the Grant County Community Foundation. In this capacity, the ED will provide professional leadership and assistance to the Board in making the Community Foundation an effective, viable organization. The ED will act in an advisory capacity to the Board and all committees regarding projects of the Community Foundation.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Overall administrative operations of the Community Foundation.
Development of additional assets and donors.
Maintaining relations with existing donors and developing new relationships with potential donors.
Communications and grant application management.
Management of funds and budget management.
General administrative, governance, and community leadership responsibilities.
Other Information/Requirements:
The Executive Director will represent the foundation in the community and actively seek to participate in community-level projects. The ED will develop professional relationships with government officials, other non-profit organizations, and business and civic leaders. They will continue the community leadership and capacity building initiatives currently within the scope of the Community Foundation’s remit and enhance awareness of the foundation among other community organizations.
