DVS is looking for an Account Executive. The work location will be remote.
Job Summary: The Account Executive is responsible for driving sales growth by building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and delivering solutions that align with the company's offerings. This role requires strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to meet or exceed revenue targets. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and excels in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their questions, concerns, and feedback in a timely manner.
- Regularly meet with clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client objectives.
Account Management:
- Oversee a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Monitor client activity, renewals, and contract negotiations to ensure continued revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and customer support) to ensure smooth delivery and execution of client solutions.
Market Research & Lead Generation:
- Conduct market research to identify new prospects, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Generate new leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging referrals.
- Maintain an updated pipeline of potential clients and opportunities using CRM software.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and revenue projections to management.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, adjusting sales strategies to improve outcomes.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights on customer needs.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product developments and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings or industry events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in enterprise software industry.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies such as consultative selling, SPIN selling, or solution selling.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and strategies.
