Job Title: Class A CDL Driver (Oversized Load)

Shift: 8-10 Hours, Return Home Daily

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our client, Builders, in Delaware, OH. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of driving experience and be comfortable transporting oversized loads within the central Ohio area. This position involves operating both a box truck and a flatbed for oversized hauls. Drivers will work 8-10 hour shifts, with the benefit of returning home every night.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate box trucks and flatbeds, transporting oversized loads throughout central Ohio.
• Ensure all shipments are safely secured and comply with regulations for oversized hauling.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Plan routes and make timely deliveries while maintaining a high level of safety.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding deliveries, delays, and any issues encountered.
• Maintain accurate driving records and logs, adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Return home after each shift with no overnight travel required.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with 2-3 years of driving experience.
• Experience with oversized load hauling is preferred.
• Comfortable operating both box trucks and flatbed trucks.
• Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts, primarily within the central Ohio area.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift and secure loads as needed.
