As aDental Assistant you will:+ Prepares, sterilizes, disinfects, and maintains dental equipment, instruments, and supplies+ Collects and records patient health historiesand x-rays+ Ensures patient comfort during dental procedures+ Completes charting of treatment information in the patients' dental notes from the doctor as directed+ Assist doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies+ Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient+ Maintains infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staff+ Assist administrative team with customer service functionsEducation and Experience:+ High school diploma or equivalent+ Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience required+ Previous customer service or office experience preferred+ Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days indental terminology and dental software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc.+ Strong verbal and written communication skills+ Foster a positive attitude and be a team playerPatient Care Hours:Wednesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Powered by JazzHR
