We offer:Competitive payBonus opportunities for meeting practice goals6 weeks of paid time off100% employer-paid health insurance plan for employeesEmployee dental benefitsVision, life insurance, disability insurance401kUniforms providedCompany-sponsored trips and eventsLearn more at RESPONSIBILITIESPerform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctor's schedule and patient flowAssist the doctors with all dental proceduresPartner with the team to create an exceptional experience for each patientReview patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in patient chartVerify patient health history and document appropriately in patient's chartDiscussing diagnosed treatment with the patientMaintain sufficient inventory by ordering clinical suppliesEnsure the practice maintains sufficient inventory by ordering clinical suppliesPromote and market the company's services and doctors to patients as well as educate patientsAddress patient's questions and/or concernsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSGraduation from an accredited dental assisting program with current CDA certification; or a combination of education and on-the-job training to demonstrate basic chairside dental assisting skills:Receiving and preparing patients for dental treatmentAssisting chairsideTaking x-raysMaking temporary crowns and pouring/trimming impressionsMake custom bleaching traysCurrent x-ray, CPR, and nitrous certifications (or the ability to obtain upon hire)Demonstrated ability to work in a professional environment with direct patient contact. This includes demonstrating an outgoing and friendly demeanor, greeting patients with a smile as welcomed guests to the practice.Basic knowledge of dentistry and ability to educate patients regarding their dental healthAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment. This includes learning quickly and accepting constructive feedback. Self-motivated and driven for team success.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS1 or more years expanded dental assisting experience, preferably in general dentistryDenticon experience (or the ability to learn)
