Job Description

We are seeking reliable and dedicated individuals for a housekeeping/janitor position at a government facility. The ideal candidate will have prior cleaning experience and a strong work ethic. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various areas of the facility to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all personnel.

Responsibilities

- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in assigned areas.

- Clean and disinfect restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces.

- Empty trash and recycling bins regularly and dispose of waste properly.

- Maintain cleanliness of building entrances and outdoor areas as required.

- Report any maintenance issues or needed repairs to management.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred.

- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

- Must have a clean background with no felony convictions.

- Ability to lift and move items as needed (up to 25 lbs).

- Good communication skills and reliability.

Requirements

- Must be able to pass a background check.

- Reliable transportation to and from work.

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
