Summary:
Performs custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas, and other building interiors and exterior to ensure that cGMP standards are being met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Sweeps vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners, and scrubbing and buffing machines. Occasionally must use ladders or manlifts. Dusts and washes walls, ceilings, and polishes light fixtures. Washes and replaces blinds. Move furniture or objects to clean.
May also sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks. Electrical cords/dust, Dock doors/dust and cobweb free, Janitors cart and closet, Smoking area
Other Duties:
All other duties as assigned
Flexibility to assume other jobs when work schedule necessitates movement of staff to other positions.
Qualifications:
Graduated high school or equivalent.

Work Environment:
This position requires work in both an office setting and a manufacturing setting. Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Office areas may or may not be environmentally controlled. Work often requires after hours communication or extended work hours, including weekend or evening work. Working conditions in the manufacturing setting may or may not be environmentally controlled resulting in hot or cold temperatures depending on weather conditions. While working in the manufacturing area, the employee may work in areas where there is moving warehouse equipment and must exercise care to avoid injury in these environments.
