Job Summary
The Heavy Equipment Operator will operate a Loader and will be responsible for the proper operation of the loader to perform associated plant duties and general dirt work operations.
Essential Functions
- Follow all required company and general safety rules, policies, and guidelines
- Includes but is not limited to operating loaders to move and load various roadway sub-grade materials
- Perform general sub-grade operations
- The above-listed duties may require long periods of sitting, walking, and standing
Required Skills & Experience
- At least four years of previous heavy equipment experience
- Physical ability to perform assigned tasks
- Physical ability to walk on uneven terrain
- Must be able to climb the equipment's ladder to reach the operator's seat
- General operator skills
- Basic knowledge of operating Loaders
- Previous experience preferred; must be willing to learn
- Other heavy equipment experience preferred: excavator, backhoe, dozer, etc.
