Heavy Equipment Operator (Second Shift, 5pm to 3am) – Experienced Wheel Loader / Excavator / Haul Truck Operator
  • Second Shift Pay Differential Will Apply
Job Summary:
Souter Limestone and Minerals is currently seeking second shift heavy equipment operators to support our aggregate crushing plant located near Gore, OK.  The wheel loader, excavator, haul truck operators, and ground crew will report to the Plant foreman.  They will be in a role of loading haul trucks in a quarry pit which feeds the crushing plant as well as offloading stockpiles. Ability to help with maintenance and repairs is required.
Job Description:
  • Operate Heavy equipment in support of feeding an aggregate crushing plant
  • Responsible for keeping a steady consistent feed to the plant hopper
  • Perform preventative maintenance on crusher and support equipment
  • Perform pre-operation check of equipment and complete documentation
  • Demonstrates a good working knowledge of company rules
  • At times there will be physical labor such as shoveling
  • Work in compliance with MSHA and other regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
  • Experience with rock quarry operations
  • Knowledge of MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) regulations a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime during peak production times
  • Must be safety conscious, dependable, motivated and possess a positive attitude in working with others as a team
