In this role, you’ll get hands-on with the latest equipment, demonstrating its features and safe operation to customers, and ensuring each machine's potential is fully showcased. This position can be based out of Fargo, ND or Sioux Falls, SD.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and demonstrate various types of heavy equipment, highlighting their features, benefits, and capabilities to customers.
- Works closely with the sales team and customers to understand how the equipment can provide solutions that grow and improve business operations.
- Provides advanced technical support and troubleshooting assistance during demos and post demos, including any operational issues or challenges 24/7, whether on the road or in the office.
- Provides additional onsite equipment training for customers and their employees on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Collaborates with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for demonstrations
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products and customer needs to provide relevant and current information during demos.
- Adheres to all safety protocols while operating and demonstrating equipment.
- Requires traveling to customer sites, trade shows, and other locations to provide live demos (approx. 50% travel).
- Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Must be able to obtain CDI or CDO certification. CAT requires all demo equipment operators to complete a CAT instructor Accredited Program (CIAP)
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to meet company insurability guidelines.
- Class A Driver’s license preferred.
