Responsibilities SCRUM MASTER responsibilities for new or existing system(s) may include: Leads the development effort by conveying the vision to an Agile Scrum delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value. Liaises with stakeholders ensuring their interests are included in the release, and the team to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget. Responsible for the business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline. Serves as the Agile Scrum delivery team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery. Serve as liaisons between the product owner, development team, and management to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Ensure that team members understand project objectives. Maintains product backlog and release plan and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals. Preserves flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes. Is the facilitator for an agile development team. The scrum master manages the process for how information is exchanged. Familiar with SAFe Agile processes. Provides expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives. Determines operational objectives by studying functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats. Analyzes technical processes. Experience with project tracking and collaboration tools (Jira, SharePoint, MS Teams, and MS PowerPoint) Full time work in SCIF is required, but hours are flexible Qualifications Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical (STEM) field of study with 8 years of relevant experience. Additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of degree Requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph Requires experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe and/or Kanban. Preferred Qualifications: CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification Understanding of cloud environments including AWS. Target Salary Range $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
