Job Description
As a Master Scheduler/Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production plans and schedules to optimize manufacturing operations. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that production goals are met while maintaining cost-efficiency and quality standards.

· Develop, manage, and maintain production plans based on customer orders, demand forecasts, and inventory levels. Ensure that production schedules align with business goals and priorities.
· Monitor manufacturing and Engineering capacity and make recommendations for adjustments or expansions as needed to meet production demands. Analyze and suggest outsourcing and overtime needs as necessary.
· Maintain optimal inventory levels by collaborating with inventory control teams to minimize excess or obsolete stock while ensuring product availability for customer orders.
· Create detailed production schedules for machines, labor, and materials to meet production requirements while maximizing resource utilization and minimizing lead times.
· Create and maintain a dynamic lead time model based on capacity planning and supply chain fluctuations.
· Coordinate with various departments, including procurement, production, and logistics, to allocate resources effectively and ensure that materials and equipment are available when needed.
· Prepare for and run weekly production meetings.
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production performance. (visual boards etc).
· Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential issues, and take corrective actions as necessary.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production managers, engineers, and supply chain professionals, to align production plans with company objectives and customer requirements.
· Proactively identify potential production disruptions and develop contingency plans to address unforeseen issues or delays.

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering).
· Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing operations, preferably in a related industry.
· Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and inventory management.
· Proficiency in using manufacturing software and ERP systems.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
