Job Summary The Master Data Lead role works to ensure that all Nissin Foods USA data assets are credible and available by developing policy and process, measuring compliance, and enforcing standards to ensure consistency and improve efficiency with Nissin Foods USA. This role is the data expert that supports and governs singular or bulk master data changes for Nissin Foods USA. The Master Data Lead plays a critical role executing against the mission to ensure that data is accurate, certified, reliable, easily accessible, secure and stored within Nissin Foods USA. This creates a strong foundation for agile analytics through data accuracy to harvest insights which drive sustainable growth and profit. The Master Data Lead in this job description may have responsibility for data operations within any of the enterprise data domains or within data management processes including, but not limited to, EDI, GDSN/GS1, pricing, reference management or hierarchy/taxonomy management. The Master Data Lead will work with all Nissin Foods USA data user groups to ensure that activities deliver against any SLA's, and / or data management policies, and that their results align with Nissin Foods USA's objectives and guiding principles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Specific Accountabilities include: Verifying, updating, and maintaining data for multiple department inputs Support Data Stewardship for each data master Partnering with Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Supply Chain, and other internal Nissin Foods USA functions to deliver attributes to company initiatives Develop PIM (Product Information Management) System, to assist in creating and maintaining attributes, website collections, layouts, and views. Troubleshooting issues with the publishing of data and ensuring data quality across PIM (Product Information Management) systems Maintaining data accuracy and timely delivery of data Collaborating with the Marketing and Sales Operation team to identify opportunities to increase Nissin Foods USA data driven marketing capabilities Interfacing with vendor partners and data providers to develop and enhance product content and information gathering processes Identify data platform relevancy and usage to drive system accuracy, data analysis and to recommend enhancements and improvements. Responsible for identifying and driving departmental efficiencies among ERP systems, Navision (Business Central), Excel and other data organization and delivery tools. Provide expertise and input into new systems functional design, testing and implementation identifying requirements for projects related to ERP improvement. Support of changes to these processes in Nissin Foods USA's sales systems: Understanding of sales reporting, sales transactions, pricing conditions, contracts and other sales processes and functional interdependencies. Recognize and escalate issues identified as opportunities for business improvement. Supporting the execution of relevant projects within assigned data areas including acquisition analysis and data accuracy. Understanding accurate research data loads and data systems accuracy along with updates to these technologies. Supporting the utilization of data platforms to identify detailed issues to Information Technology Team for problem resolution for data loads and data systems accuracy. Analyzing master data in Navision relative to material master setup and maintenance. Properly process obsolete data to maintain system integrity. Entering and updating data in the Nissin Foods USA's system. This table interacts with the product master data to produce correct customer order processing, shipments, and invoices for all of Nissin Foods USA. Validating and processing New Item Forms including innovation items, promo codes and display/material variants. Representing the team on project work as required by the business. Supporting the integration of master data for Nissin Foods USA mergers and acquisitions. Understanding Nissin Foods USA capabilities to drive fast, accurate setup. This position is heavily relied on to standardize, simplify and automate processes. Work with outside consultants on special projects or assignments Qualifications and Requirements Education/Experience: Must have Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Management or equivalent and three (3) years or more of related business experience within retail, brokers or manufacturing industries or equivalent combination of training, education and experience. CPG industry experience is preferred. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Deep knowledge of Dynamics Navision/Business Central, including backend data structure and development processes. Deep knowledge of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and when needed, the ability to support Sales and Finance/Accounting operations, process, and procedures. Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data. Detailed written, verbal and collaborative skills. Proficiency in MS Office products, especially MS Excel and Access Demonstrated project experience designing and implementing data governance initiatives in a management role Environment: Physical Demands Required to stand, walk, talk, or hear, taste or smell.
