Job Description
Position Summary:
Within the School of Health and Human Sciences, the Healthcare Programs encompass the following academic programs of the University: Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA), Master of Public Health (MPH), and Healthcare Management (HCM). The Full-Time Faculty for Public Health and Healthcare Administration is responsible for teaching, mentoring, advising, and collaborating in the curricular and accreditation efforts of the program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities involve but are not limited to:
- Work with the Director, Assistant Director, Faculty, and Staff to ensure all program components are aligned with the mission, vision, and values of the MHA and MPH Programs, the School of Health and Human Sciences, and the University, as well as appropriate CAHME and CEPH standards.
- Assist in assessment activities with the Director and faculty.
- Teach and manage courses effectively in online and traditional in-person environments.
- Represent the School of Health and Human Sciences on at least one University committee.
- Assist with CAHME and CEPH Accreditation preparation and site visits to ensure accreditation of the Programs.
- Assists with improving course content and online delivery with the Director.
- Maintain regular office hours.
- Participate in division, school, and plenary faculty meetings.
- Attend faculty conferences and professional workshops to keep current in the field.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The following are the minimum requirements for this position:
- A terminal degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of teaching experience in health services, community health promotion, public health, and/or healthcare management is required.
- Professional experience in health services, community health promotion, public health, and/or healthcare management is preferred.
Full Time Faculty Position
$66,000 - $105,000/yr
