About the Role
The Master Data Controller position is responsible for item setup and review which includes BOM (Bill of Material), routing, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) review. Driving improvements through analysis, highlighting areas for improvements in processes, systems, efficiencies, and historical data clean up. This role will focus on cleaning up and maintaining all inputs that effect our MRP output in our ERP system. This will include item setup, warehouse setup, vendor setup, and customer order creation.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain full responsibility for part number master data.
- Review and validate BOMs to ensure alignment with product specifications.
- Evaluate routing details to confirm proper time allocation.
- Review vendor setup (Lead time, safety stock, etc.)
- Work with scheduling team to determine manufacturing setup on items.
- Understand how customer orders affect MRP, and make sure all data is setup to produce the production schedule needed.
- Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of critical across the various systems
- Provide Support to procurement and scheduling specifically to understand how master data drives MRP and scheduling.
- The Master Data Controller position will also support systems development, improvement and support specifically for the following systems:
- XA ERP
- Factory and Production Data Collection and Controls
- Power BI Reporting
- Others as developed.
Additional Expectation
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
- Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
- Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
What You’ll Bring
- A bachelor’s degree from a college or university
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant Manufacturing Experience
- Expertise in Accounting, Master data, or related business role.
- Systems implementation experience preferred but not essential.
