Job Summary

Under the direction of the Service Center Leadership, the Factory Service Center Technician is responsible to ensure aircraft and articles are maintained and repaired in a safe, effective and efficient manner. They will perform maintenance, repair and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with current technical data.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Demonstrate and maintain a positive attitude, strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills while working in a large-volume aircraft maintenance environment with strict Return to Service dates.
  • Support the Service Center vision and organizational objectives through effective communication leading the assigned team in the execution of daily priorities.
  • Sets a positive approach to teamwork
  • Identifies improvements, to increase quality and throughput while achieving on time delivery
  • Provide assistance to team members as required
  • Properly utilizes the Factory Service Center work order system to record work performed and log OJT
  • Ensures all policies and procedures IAW 14 CFR Part 145 manuals are adhered to
  • Attends training and safety sessions as assigned

Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of Cirrus Aircraft maintenance manuals and associated vendor manuals.
  • Airframe and Powerplant license, appropriately rated Repairman Certificate or equivalent experience preferred
  • Demonstrated problem solving abilities utilizing sound judgement and effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stress in and environment of competing work demands and concurrent projects
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of various software tools (Microsoft Office)
