We are seeking a skilled New Business Development Analyst to join our team.
About the Role:
As part of the Business Development team, the New Business Development Analyst will be involved in identifying growth opportunities, creating strategies, and supporting proposal and capture processes to secure new contracts and expand the company's portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating, identifying, and qualifying new opportunities aligned with the company’s capabilities and growth objectives.
- Collaborate on strategies for preparing competitive and compelling bids.
- Support the transition from opportunity discovery to proposal development stages.
- Help analyze customer and competitor landscapes to inform winning strategies.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of the company’s strategic growth plan and pipeline.
- Research and propose creative solutions for technical and strategic challenges.
- Ensure timely and high-quality proposal submissions that align with business objectives.
- Assist in managing the end-to-end proposal development process, from planning to submission.
- Review solicitation documents to ensure compliance with client requirements and expectations.
- Support the creation and maintenance of proposal calendars and tracking systems.
- Help draft and review proposal narratives, ensuring clarity and competitiveness.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to gather critical information for proposals.
- Assist in the development of supporting materials, including graphics and presentations.
- Ensure accurate feedback is integrated into proposals during review cycles.
- Maintain and organize a centralized library of proposal templates and reusable content.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in new business development or a similar role, preferably within the federal agencies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive and compliant documentation.
- Ability to analyze complex documents and requirements with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with a focus on quality.
- Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SharePoint and Deltek is a plus.
- Ability to understand client needs and align them with company capabilities and solutions.
