Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting existing applications, testing, ensuring applications meet the business requirements, and identifying and communicating issues with the software development team. The IT Business Analyst will lead technical projects and programs that will interpret, affect, and implement management and operational policies and affect IT and business operations. Assignments will span all levels of duration, budget, complexity, and risk.

Job Responsibilities, Required Knowledge, Skills

- Ensure that projects and applications are adopted by the relevant teams

- Execute testing of the various builds, including integration, functional, regression testing, and performance tests
- Identify and resolve system issues
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues

- Isolate, replicate, document, and communicate issues as they arise

- Translate user requirements into system requirements and functional design specifications.
- Work closely with business leaders and technical teams to ensure that requirements are clear and complete, implement solutions that meet requirements, and ensure that test scripts are complete and will fully test the application
Education & Experience
- A High school diploma or GED is required; an advanced degree in a technical or business field is preferred; extensive experience may be considered in lieu of education
- A minimum of three (3) years of direct experience in information technology, data analysis, or project management
- Ability to adjust priorities and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to investigate and analyze information to draw conclusions
- Ability to plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot software
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience in business process analysis and requirements definition and documentation, and proven competency in delivering high-quality solutions
- Proven ability to adapt to new systems quickly
- Requires proficiency with computer hardware and software to include Microsoft Office applications, using a computer with a keyboard and mouse, navigation with a web browser, checking and sending email, and use of internet search engines
Required Licensure & Certifications
- Requires an active and valid driver's license
Working Conditions
- Work hours will be assigned based on business needs however, work hours will typically be Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. By request from the department manager or department director. Work hours may include irregular hours to assist in completing special tasks or assignments
- Out-of-regional travel may be required to attend training, seminars, or work-related events
- Work will be performed in the office or remote setting if the job can support remote work and is approved by the department manager and department director or executive
Special Projects
- Assist the management and or executive team when requested to complete special projects and complete all assignments within a negotiated time frame established by the department manager
- Completion of other duties as assigned by the department manager as it relates to the program and position
