The Product Development Excellence, Quality and Cost team is focused on helping clients globally achieve product development success. By providing applications and training that enable product groups to collaborate with cross-functional teams, our platform delivers product development programs with higher efficiency and fewer defects. The team is responsible for developing, deploying and training Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes and tools. The position is challenged to quickly and correctly identify problems that may not be obvious. The incumbent provides support to practitioners on product development processes and tools. The incumbent works with cross functional teams to support the development and deployment including communication, testing and training. The position requires individuals to think outside the box on developing new approaches to meeting quality goals in the measures stated. Typical task breakdown: -Work closely with internal teams and practitioners to develop, deploy, train and support users on processes and tools. -Collaborate with cross functional teams located globally to understand their requirements, document those and work with IT to develop those enhancements for the tools. -Collaborate with the process and application owners in a variety of projects intended to highlight insights related to product development application usage, deployment, among other areas -Ad-hoc data analysis, data processing, and data visualization Interaction with team: -Communication w/ peers and depending on the application being supported the resource may communicate with suppliers or internal users. Work environment: - Standard office setting - Hybrid work schedule - onsite in Mossville, IL 3 times a week Candidate Requirements Education & Experience Required: -Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical focus preferred) or Computer Science with minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience. Technical Skills Required -Practical, working knowledge of Product Development and Quality -PowerBI Desired -Knowledge/Experience in product development standards -Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing or Lean Manufacturing would also be beneficial.
